1, connect the shorter black wire from the switch to the black wire from the light fixture (center hole)
2, pull in the plug-in cord and secure it in the canopy with an electrician knot
3, connect the black wire from the plug-in cord to the longer black wire from the switch
4, connect the white wire from the light fixture (center hole) to the white wire from the plug-in cord
5, connect the copper wire (ground wire) to the mounting bracket

Q: Why I can turn it on with the switch but cannot turn it off with it?
A: Please try turn it off clockwise, this switch only works clockwise.
